u/Karunious disabled Secure Boot, deleted old Windows keys, formatted his PC, did a clean install and the freezing stopped.

Update 7: u/Karunious says the local account thingy isn't it, and from feedback from others it doesn't solve the problem. Keep responding guys so we get bigger and more visible. One temporary solution from u/Karunious might be to login via a local account, however I haven't tested it. Update 6: According to the feedback I got the problem isn't related to a brand of hardware (both AMD and NVidia has it), nor antivirus.

Update 5: Idea: everyone with the problem please state your PC specs, maybe we can narrow the problem down to a driver issue My advice is to roll back and wait for the official reaction from Microsoft
Update 4: The Media Creation Tool reinstall is not working for all people affected! After the first restart the freezing can potentially return. Update 3: I installed the English language pack (I have a Slovak core version), restarted and the problem is back. They need to be more careful! Didn't help eventually On top of that some people got W10 forcibly and updates are automatic too. Not everybody is on Reddit and not everybody can repair it. Reporting in from the latest build without freezing.
Update 2: It seems u/KuruQan found a potential solution: I have tried it and it works flawlessly. Update 1: For the tech gurus out there, there is no problem with Start/Taskbar/Notification center in safe mode, no freezing at all General freezings are still present though on some systems.

Please, if you had the original full lockup hard reset freezing, and managed to install the latest updates, respond if it helped. (TL:DR with useful information on the bottom) I am hopeless and can't afford to format this PC. After a couple of ninja startups and restarts I disabled every 3rd party program starting with windows. After that if I only mouse over the Start area, taskbar, the black part simply, it freezes and I get a message that Microsoft Windows is not responding. After logging in everything works for like 20secs. Everything went fine, no problems, but my whole system freezes after startup. Potential permanent fix from Microsoft in Update 36.
